About Us

Our Mission

To provide the highest quality medical care from birth through adolescence to the children of western Rochester.  We offer the best in flexible scheduling, access to physicians and nurses, and accept all insurances.  Patients and their families feel comfortable coming to our office.

Our Physicians

We hold teaching appointments at the University of Rochester's School of Dentistry and Medicine.

Education, Credentials and Hospital Affiliations are important in choosing a physician and for providing high quality of care.  Our physicians not only have attended first rate educational institutions, they also teach the next generation of doctors.  The best pediatricians are often sought out by the medical schools to help teach their students because they are the best teachers.   Periodically you will see medical students at our office, shadowing our doctors.  It keeps us stimulated to remain on top of the latest advances in medicine.

You can be confident your newborn children are in good hands with our physicians.

Our physicians have additional training and credentialing to be the staff Pediatricians at the Unity Hospital August Family Birth Place.  This includes Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

We are the staff Pediatricians for the Unity Hospital August Family Birth Place.

Dr. Gretchen Smith-Burke is the Director of the Unity Hospital Nursery.

We admit patients to, and attend to patients at, Unity Hospital, Golisano Children's Hospital, Rochester General Hospital, and Highland Hospital.
